After seven years off the air, Alton Brown brought back his seminal series Good Eatsfor its 15th season. Episodes dug into an array of food-related history and science, including the American roots of chicken parmesan, the role of medieval Polish royalty in the development of latkes, and the long history of refrigeration.
“American Classics X: Chicken Parm,” a standout episode from this season, was a 2020 James Beard Award finalist.
